Translation and Localization
Thank you for visiting my website.
I
offer translation from English to Czech. I specialize on technical
translation, manuals and bulletins, and localization of software
applications and systems. I can also localize your website or translate
a business contract or a piece of general text.
I have been a freelancer for more than 20 years, working for both, agencies and individual companies. Some references can be found under Portfolio.
I accept various source formats – formatted DOC or ODT documents as well as RTF, HTML or XML source files. If you need to translate a printed document or require specific formatting of the translated text, please see information about additional services, including scanning or print.
In order to make the translation consistent, I use various CAT tools. The list of available programs is intended especially for companies or agencies that require translation to be made using a given application.
As a
matter of course, I spellcheck my documents and check the appearance
before printing.
